Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Downtown is a cool place to stay in the middle of everything. I really like the location and everything that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and attentive to make sure that you have everything that you need for the best stay. Good experience every time I have been here.

I had a great stay at this Courtyard during a visit to the Louisville area. The staff were great and everything went well during my stay. I stayed in a standard King room which was clean and bright and had a great view of the downtown area. The rooms are a little smaller than what I'm used to but I was only in my room late at night to sleep. The hotel has several amenities for guests to enjoy. it has an ample fitness center, a very welcoming lobby, a bar, a bistro that serves breakfast, coffee, and a limited choice of food for lunch and dinner. Parking is in the hotel and is added to the room charge. The hotel wifi worked well in every area of the hotel including my room, the lobby, the conference rooms and my room. Overall a great stay and not too expensive for a downtown hotel. This hotel is located near many of Louisville's attractions within walking distance. I would stay here again if the room price is reasonable.

The hotel is located in a great area, Whiskey Row, lots of bars, restaurants and the Louisville Slugger factory all within walking distance. Courtney at the front desk was super friendly and gave us some coupons for local spots to try. The hotel is a little dated and parking is a bit pricey but overall it was fine. Like others have mentioned, the hotel is on a main road so traffic noise is a bit much, however they provide a white noise machine which worked great (I’m buying one for home it was that good).

We stayed here over Derby weekend and paid almost $2000/night for the absolute worst hotel stay. We switched from a suite to a small room trying to get away from the street noise but all rooms have extremely loud sounds which make it impossible to sleep. The hotel has old windows and is close tot the bridge. When we told this to the management they didn’t care and refused to do anything. They encouraged us to write this review. Pathetic!

I pre paid for breakfast (in my reservations) and they gave me a voucher with instructions to order the meal at the local Starbucks. I did exactly what was on the voucher and I was still charged for breakfast. Unprepared service and unfair and disrespectful billing. I will never return to this hotel

Awesome hotel with very friendly staff. Very convenient to great restaurants and entertainment! The bed was awesome and had a very nice shower in the bathroom. Indoor pool convenient if you want to go for a swim. Great bar for a refreshing beverage. This was actually my second time staying and will definitely book again in the future if I'm in the area.

This property has a major defect: absurd levels of noise in the guest rooms. My room was a king guest room on the 6th floor that was directly at the corner of an extremely busy intersection. I have traveled thru the US and overseas and never experienced noise levels this bad. I have stayed at airport properties that were quieter! The owners need to invest in better windows and sound proofing to improve the quality of the guest experience. Providing noise machines and ear plugs are not an acceptable way to deal with the defects in your facility. Even when the traffic levels are light the noise is still present. Additionally the interior hallways, walls and corridors are lacking any sound proofing as well. Every time a guest in neighboring room entered their suite, it sounded as if they were entering my room. The bathroom was also sub-par. Sink area too small to hold toiletries and hair styling appliances. The shower was recently updated but far too small for the average person. Weirdly placed shelves in the shower created an even tighter space. Public shared areas were fine in terms of cleanliness and function. Staff was fine and seemed well trained. Parking garage was convenient given the city location. Overall this is just an old property that needs to invest in some structural improvements to compete with the MANY other similarity prices options in this location. I would not recommend this property to friends or colleagues.

Not Usually a Fan of courtyards even tho I stay at them all the time….. this one was Great! From beginning to end the staff was Professional of what every staff should aspire to be! I had to call to beg to get another night stay as there was a convention in town and every room was sold out. We had tours booked that couldn’t be changed. They accommodated over the phone and made it happen! The checkin lady was the Best! She even told us about Overdrive (ax throwing and car racing ) two blocks away that we would have never known about . Our 12 year old and us spent 2 nights there having fun. Room was great and as we requested high and far from elevator. (Something Bonvoy messes up all the time) Great Job housekeeping and keeping it clean. And ev time we walked thru lobby ev one Had a Happy Greeting and smile on their face - (felt the monitoring of guests walking thru made for good security) Great Job Guys !
